BOUND FOR SAFETY: YOUR BLUEPRINT TO CHILD RESTRAINT SEATS
This article briefly discusses the options available in child restraints for infants, toddlers, and children 30-60 pounds, comments on the recommendations of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and other safety experts regarding child restraints, and points out that all 50 states and the District of Columbia have laws requiring child-safety restraints and that car accidents are the number one cause of death and permanent injury among children in the U.S. At the conclusion of the article, several interesting portable child safety seats with unique features are described.
