A GUIDE TO PARLIAMENT'S CONSIDERATION OF THE CHANNEL TUNNEL RAIL LINK BILL
The publication is intended as a guide for those who may find it necessary to petition against the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Bill. An appendix summarises the stages through which the Bill must pass before it is enacted. If approved by Parliament, the Bill would authorise the construction of a proposed high-speed railway line between St Pancras and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone. The Bill would also authorise a widening of the M2 motorway between junction 1 and 4.
