TRENDS IN ENGINEERING SURVEYING INSTRUMENTATION AND TECHNIQUES
The main developments in surveying instrumentation (excluding photogrammetry) which have occurred in recent years are reviewed in five sections: angle measurement; gyrotheodolite orientation; levelling; electro-magnetic distance measurement, and laser alignment. Where appropriate, changes in survey technique resulting from thses developments are considered. /Author/ /TRRRL/
