FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE BOX GIRDER BRIDGES HAVING COMPLETE OR INCOMPLETE INTERACTION
Details are given of several finite elements which are especially suitable for use in the analysis of composite box girder bridges having complete or incomplete interaction. Model test results are used as a basis for demonstrating the the accuracy of the elements, which are then used to study some effects of shear connector distribution on the elastic behaviour of composite box girder bridges.
