ELECTRONIC TOLL AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT (ETTM) USER REQUIREMENTS OF TOLL OPERATING AUTHORITIES FOR FUTURE NATIONAL INTEROPERABILITY
This document presents a portion of the requirements of state and regional toll operating authorities for Electronic Toll and Traffic Management (ETTM) systems. It describes the minimum set of requirements deemed necessary to promote and facilitate national interoperability of ETTM systems. Recognizing that ETTM systems already exist which are not interoperable, and that technology vendors have already made a significant investment in current technology, the ETTM Group's target was the requirements to assure the interoperability of next generation ETTM systems.
