URBAN RETAIL DELIVERIES AND THE PROBLEM OF HEAVY GOODS VEHICLES IN TOWNS - A REVIEW OF SOME OF THE LITERATURE
A review is made of some of the literature concerning urban retail deliveries and the problems of controlling heavy goods vehicles in towns. Present methods of urban distribution are discussed, and the effects that attempts to alter these may have on private and public costs are examined. Some suggestions for further research are included, and a bibliography is given in order to provide a wider view of the literature that is available. (A) /TRRL/
