MOSS-BUILT LPG/AMMONIA CARRIER FOR P&O
The 22 000 cu m LPG/ammonia carrier "Garbeta" has a length oa of 165.00 m, a beam of 23.00 m, a draft (ammonia) of 10.20 m--propane 9.40 m, and is powered by a seven cylinder Aker-B&W 7K74EF diesel engine developing 14 600 bhp at 134 rpm, giving a speed of 17.8 knots. The vessel is designed to carry propane, butane and ammonia and was built to DnV Class +1 Al, Ice C, EO. The cargo is carried in four prismatic independent self-supporting tanks.
