CENTRIFUGAL DREDGEPUMPS

Previous articles in this series discussed a number of specific properties details and characteristics of installations built around a single dredgepump. The vast majority of modern large dredgers, whose function lies in the hydraulic transport of soil over considerable distances, are equipped with two or more pumps operating in series. This article deals with some of the aspects of such installations.
