PENA SETS ITS GOAL

At the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board held January 10, 1996, Secretary of Transportation Federico Pena announced the implementation of an intelligent transportation infrastructure. The infrastructure is planned for 75 metropolitan areas and will be implemented over the next 10 years.
