SMALL HOVERCRAFT STRUCTURES--NEW APPROACH
The paper describes the manner in which glass-reinforced plastics (GRP) may be used to advantage in the production of simple, economic, corrosion and damage-resistant small hovercraft structures. The loading cases to be considered are defined and the design of GRP structures--including choice of matrix, reinforcement and sandwich core materials--is discussed.
