A STUDY ON THE LATERAL DYNAMICAL PROPERTIES OF A PNEUMATIC TIRE UNDER TIME-VARYING WHEEL LOAD
A model is proposed to simulate the lateral dynamic properties of a pneumatic tyre. The model is analysed under time-varying wheel load and constant side-slip angle. Theoretical results are compared with experimental results and show a satisfactory agreement. It is suggested that the model could be treated as a subsystem and incorporated into the whole vehicle dynamic system. For the covering abstract see IRRD 874974.
