PLASTIC FILTERS-A NEW CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL. TESTS ON DRAINAGE OF THE TRACK FORMATION

Synthetic cloth and woven plastic are obtainable from industry firms, to be used for filtering and all problems to do with separating the upper layer of soil and drainage. Under certain conditions these materials can be used to retain the soil and allow water to drain away. The article describes tests at present in progress on track bed drainage using these plastic filters.
