U.S MIDDLE CLASSES COULD BENEFIT FROM AIRPORT SALE
As the debate heats up over the sale of U.S. airports, those opposed insist it will not create the cash windfall the government is looking for to fund possible tax cuts. In the past, Washington has been less than comfortable with the idea of wholesale corporate ownership of the nation's airports, primarily due to the amount of public money pumped into them through the federal Airport Improvement Program.
