NOVICE DRIVERS' JUDGEMENTS OF TRAFFIC SCENES
This paper describes the study of a selected sample of newly-qual drivers which explored whether the judgements drivers make of tra scenes develop as experience of the traffic scene is amassed. A of teenage drivers were asked to evaluate a series of videos base the Judgements of Traffic Scenes task. Drivers were categorised according to length of driving experience and whether they had dr high or low mileage. Danger, Difficulty and Abnormality factors assessed in relation to driving experience. The results showed m coherent and organised judgement with increased mileage and exper of the traffic system. For the covering abstract see IRRD 873938
