The report gives an overview of urban goods movement in Oslo and describes problems in the field of urban goods movement. Important subjects include traffic regulations, freight deliveries and freight distribution management. The main problems of urban goods movement concern traffic congestions, difficulties with freight deliveries to buildings not suited for such deliveries and lack of parking places. Public authorities can improve the working conditions of urban goods movement by traffic regulations, infrastructure development and legislation.(A)
