SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE CRANE VESSEL IN DEEPWATER DRILLING ROLE
A study aimed at increasing the utilisation rates of a crane vessel fleet, could see a semi-submersible crane vessel (SSCV) being used for deepwater drilling. The article outlines the details of the SSCV conversion for the optimum development of oil/gas fields in 1000-2000m water depths.
