AIRCRAFT-TYPE CRASH INJURY INVESTIGATION OF A COMMUTER TRAIN COLLISION
Methodology for investigating the causes and circumstances of rail accidents. An aircraft-type investigation conducted following a collision between two commuter trains in the Chicago area, was able to identify the weaker points in the organisation of public transport in heavy-traffic zones and fix technical safety standards for the construction of rolling stock.
