CHANGE IN THE STRENGTH OF CLAYEY SOILS IN TRACK INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF VIBRODYNAMIC VEHICLE EFFECTS
VERAENDERUNG DER TRAGFAEHIGKEIT TONIGER BOEDEN IM EISENBAHNUNTERBAU BEIM VIBRODYNAMISCHEN EINWIRKEN DER FAHRZEUGE
The author describes test results in the laboratory and on site. Laboratory tests under triaxial stress conditions show changes according to water content, density and the intensity of vibration. Test results on an embankment show a drop in the strength of these soils as a result of vehicle vibrodynamic effects.
