AIR-SURFACE COMPETITION IN THE UNITED STATES. SOME SIGNIFICANT DATA
CONCURRENCE "AIR-SURFACE" AUX ETATS-UNIS. QUELQUES DONNEES SIGNIFICATIVES
The criteria for comparison are given in diagrammatic form in two tables (time-cost/consumption) three graphs, for about a dozen American domestic routes. Two hypotheses have been adopted for calculating the cost of the journey: in the first, the passenger places no value on time; in the second, time is estimated on the basis of the average hourly rate applied in the United States.
