CAR-POOLING FOR THE JOURNEY TO WORK
Car-pooling for the journey to work offers substantial benefits to the community although it has several disadvantages for the individual. Car-pooling is also illegal, at present, in some states. This paper will detail the community benefits and the individual disadvantages and will explain the legal difficulties experienced at present. A short programme for implementation is given as a guideline for future activity. (A) /TRRL/
