PRIVATE COMPENSATION FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED BY THE DISCHARGE OF OIL FROM VESSELS ON THE NAVIGABLE WATERS OF THE UNITED STATES
The study examines the methods by which private persons may seek compensation for the damage they sustain as a result of the discharge of oil from vessels on the navigable waters of the United States. An assessment of the available means of compensation is undertaken with suggested alternatives leading to more adequate and equitable compensation.
