OPERATING EXPERIENCE WITH 32/40 TO 58/64 ENGINES
With the introduction of a new medium speed engine in the mid 1980s, MAN B&W brought a number of mould-breaking constructive innovations onto the market. This article describes the positive operational experience with the engines in the past ten years, which has fully confirmed the expectations which this concept created.
