THE 65TH SESSION OF THE MARITIME SAFETY COMMITTEE OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANIZATION

The 65th session of the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which was held in London in mid-May, marked the end of a particularly busy period for the IMO during which a number of important items on the IMO agenda were progresses. This article is a summary of some of the main points discussed including: the ISM Code, ro/ro ferry safety and ship/port interface.
