THIRD CHANTIERS DE L'ATLANTIQUE/RCCL CRUISE LINER BENEFITS FROM REFRIGERATION EXPERTISE

The article describes the cold stores and refrigeration plant for the cruise ship RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS which is under construction at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France. The cold stores comprise some 31 different rooms with service temperatures ranging from -25oC to +24oC. The refrigeration plant incorporates three independent systems for freeze rooms, chilled rooms and refrigerators, and meets the requirements of consumers from deck 2 up to deck 11 and throughout the length of the ship.
