NORDLAKE: SZCZECIN'S STANDARD CONTAINER SHIP DESIGN

The containership NORDLAKE is of the standard B 186 design from Stocznia Szczecinska SA, Poland. The four box-shaped holds are fitted with a 40ft cell guide system, giving an equivalent TEU capacity of 630 below decks. A further 866TEU can be carried on deck making a total of 1,496 (homogenously loaded with 14 tonnes the total is 1,089). The article includes general arrangement drawings.
