DETERMINATION OF THE WIND-WAVE CHARACTERISTICS FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF SEAPORTS

Extension of the theory and methods of calculation of the wind-wave characteristics gains in importance nowadays since it is connected with marine construction and sea port operation, pollution control and shipping. A number of hydrotechnical structures have been designed and constructed on the Baltic sea in the Soviet Far East, the Republic of Cuba and elsewhere, according to the USSR code of designing hydrotechnical structures
