A "HOT PLANT" AT THE U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY
The new engineering studies complex at the U.S. Naval Academy's Rickover Hall has as part of its Marine Propulsions Systems Laboratory a complete steam plant. This paper describes the philosophy of its design, the physical configuration, and the educational implications affecting the Midshipman's exposure to steam power plants under controlled laboratory conditions.
