THE FIFTEENTH WORLD ROAD CONGRESS IN MEXICO CITY
The author was one of the British representatives to the Congress, which was held from 12 to 18 October 1975. A description of the organisation and programme is given, together with a summary of the findings of the Congress under the following headings: Question 1, planning and construction of highways/ Question 2, flexible pavements/ Question 3, rigid pavements/ Question 4, roads and motorways, traffic requirements, rural areas, equipment and operation/ Question 5, urban roads/ Question 6, the road and the environment/ Question 7, economic questions/ Question 8, low cost roads, lightly trafficked roads; general conclusions. /TRRL/
