PROPOSED ACI STANDARD: SPECIFICATION FOR CONCRETE MASONRY CONSTRUCTION
Definitions and notations are presented for words and terms used in these specifications which cover (a) masonry, (b) reinforcement and accessories for masonry and (c) grout for masonry. Materials and methods for construction of concrete masonry structures are covered, including concrete masonry units, mortar, grout, and reinforcement. Methods of bonding, anchoring abutting construction, and the rules for both low lift and high lift grouting are also specified. Specifications related to reference standards, sample submittals, quality assurance, construction tolerances, delivery, handling and storage are presented. Details of products and execution are also covered.
