DEVELOPING NEW PARKING STANDARDS FOR TOWN PLANNING IN EINDHOVEN

REKENEN AAN PARKEERNORMEN IN EINDHOVEN

Parking standards have to be evaluated from time to time. Eindhoven is developing new standards to be used in the new circulation plan and in town planning generally. To estimate the long term parking demand consideration was given to the expected saturation level of car ownership. Parking demand estimations were also developed for 1980-1985. Standards are given for residential premises, offices, industry, shopping centres, garages, schools, hotels, hospitals, recreational premises, churches, etc. (A) /TRRL/
