COMPULSORY DRIVER TRAINING ON SLIPPERY ROADS FOR LEARNERS
OBLIGATORISK KOERTRAENING PAA HALT UNDERLAG
A brief description is given of the four training tracks in Sweden where drivers can practise under conditions similar to those found in extreme winters. Bituminous road surfaces are sprinkled with water or grape-seed oil to obtain a friction coefficient of 0.20 - 0.25. The training scheme is presented along with experiences achieved. /TRRL/
