STATE OF THE ART OF BUS, HYBRID BUS, TROLLEYBUS AND INTERMEDIATE SYSTEMS

The article is based on a paper presented at the UITP Conference on "Intermediate Transport Modes" in Bruges on 29 August 1995. It reviews the following types of buses: diesel, battery or hybrid and trolley. Different types of bus systems are discussed, and costs are also considered.
