PARKING CONTROL AS A MEANS OF MOBILITY, DEVELOPMENT IN EUROPEAN CITIES, A EUROPEAN COMPARISON
This article discusses restricted parking in city enters in European cities such as Utrecht (Netherlands), Lille (France), Freiburg (Germany), Oxford (England), Frankfurt (Germany), Paris (France), and others. City center parking is becoming scarce and expensive in Europe, hence the development of park-and-ride areas with shuttle buses to the city. City traffic mitigation is a continuing European effort.
