SOFTWARE FOR THE EVALUATION OF TCMS AND CM/AQ PROJECTS
This abstract appears in a compendium of conference papers and highlights a presentation that reports on software tools to evaluate and rank projects submitted for Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality (CM/AQ) funding. Two models are described that use reported experience and location-specific data to evaluate transportation control measures and provide estimates of travel impact, emissions impacts, and cost effectiveness. CM/AQ funds are available to some non-attainment areas as part of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act.
