SIGNAL SYSTEM DESIGN ISSUES FOR SMALL TO MID-SIZE CITIES
This paper examines some of the issues that must be confronted in the designing of small to mid-size signal systems, and the approach for dealing with these issues. The following points are addressed: Choice of communications media; Reuse of existing components; and Maintenance staffing. Five small to mid-size signal systems in North and South Carolina are discussed.
