PRINCIPLES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONTROL CRITERIA FOR INTERSECTIONS
GRONDSLAGEN VOOR DE ONTWIKKELING VAN REGELCRITERIA VOOR KRUISPUNTEN
Features of the traffic process may serve as criteria for the choice between the application and non-application of traffic lights. These features are quantified with the help of two more or less well known mathematical models. A simple method of observation serving the determination of practical values of the parameters is described. Further studies on this subject should be performed on a multidisciplinary basis. /TRRL/
