CONTAMINATED LAND: INVESTIGATION, ASSESSMENT AND REMEDIATION
This design and practice guide on contaminated land addresses the topics of investigation, assessment and remediation of contamination in the context of current thinking on how best to deal with the issues surrounding contaminated land, both in terms of redevelopment and from considerations of human health and environmental impacts. The guide concentrates principally on issues related to chemical contamination of land and water with some references made to gases. The use of a risk management approach is described.
