BEHAVIOUR OF CAVITATION NUCLEI IN HIGH-SPEED SUBMERGED WATER-JET- TESTS
To clarify the behaviour of ambient- and inflow-cavitation nuclei distributions associated with high-speed submerged water-jet tests, the distributions and the change in them with time, by means of Coulter-counter was measured. These distributions are said to be one of the most dominant parameters in all ambient- and inflow-types of cavitation. It was noted that the distributions varied in the test water with high-pressure treatment applied by a plunger pump.
