A STUDY ON MODELLING OF PRODUCTION PLANNING BASED ON PRODUCT MODELLING SYSTEM IN CIM FOR SHIPBUILDING
To develop CIM for shipbuilding, the author implements a product definition system called SODAS (system of design and assembling for shipbuilding). This paper introduces a few of the concepts in order to develop production planning for shipbuilding. These are: process operation, task and factory model. Process operation and task are models which operate in shipyard operation. Factory model is a model of a shipyard. By using a relation between product model and factory model, information of process operation and task are acquired. Information on process planning and scheduling may also be generated.
