WASTE MANAGEMENT ON SHIPS: STATE-OF-THE-ART

A multi-purpose waste management system (MPWMS) for cruise ships makes it possible to alter the strict handicap of pre- combustion sorting and to adjust individually to all regulations and situations worldwide. The centre-piece of the MPWMS is an incinerator with a specially designed movable grate which can also handle glass and tins.
