ON THE DESIGN OF FISHERY ADMINISTRATION SHIPS

Based on experience gained from the design of a fisheries administration ship (FAS) and a survey of for FAS in service, the authors put forward their views on design approaches including the determination of principal parameters, lines, general layout, engine room arrangements and performance estimation.
