INFLUENCE OF MIXING TEMPERATURE ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF BITUMEN
Since the oxidation of the bitumen in bituminous mixtures takes place to a large extent during mixing, the temperature of the constituents during this operation has a definite effect on the properties of the mixture and especially those of the bitumen. This study evaluates the influence of the mixing temperature on the two types of bitumen most often used in Quebec, this is, 85-100 and 150-200. /RTAC/
