DEMONSTRATION OF IMPROVED BUS PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEMS
In recent years, there have been several attempts to provide improved passenger information systems for use in transit, utilizing modern techniques of automation and data processing. This paper looks at some of the problems of such systems as well as a few statistics concerning patron use. The paper is very general in scope and is intended only to give a general background to those not already familiar with these systems. /RTAC/
