ELECTRIC AND HYBRID VEHICLES PROGRAM. SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993
This program, in cooperation with industry, is conducting research, development, testing, and evaluation activities to develop the technologies that would lead to production and introduction of low-and zero-emission electric and hybrid vehicles into the Nation's transportation fleet. This annual report describes program activities in the areas of advanced battery, fuel cell, and propulsion systems development. Testing and evaluation of new technology in fleet site preparations and laboratories are also provided. Also presented is status on incentives and use of foreign components, and a listing of publications by DOE, national laboratories, and contractors.
