INVISCID CFD CODES APPLIED IN SAILING YACHT DESIGN

This paper briefly describes essential elements of the hydrodynamic design of sailing yachts and the role played by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods, specifically the validity and accuracy of linear and nonlinear wave resistance codes for sailing yachts.
