SHIP VIBRATION SIMULATION SYSTEM; 1ST REPORT; VIBRATION DATA ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING SYSTEM AND DATA BANK FACILITY

The development of a ship vibration simulation system, based on modal analysis and FEM, has been prevented by the sheer size of ship dimensions. In this study, a comprehensive ship vibration simulation system is under development. The vibration data processing system, which is the measuring part of the system, has almost been completed. It is mainly comprised of an FM telemetry system which reduced the wiring of the sensors, and an engineering work station which analyzed measured data, makes reports and stores the data.
