RESULTS OF WIND TUNNEL MODEL TESTS AND FIELD OBSERVATIONS OF WIND EFFECTS ON THE ONOMICHI BRIDGE
Results are given of wind tunnel model tests, and the efficiency of the tests is evaluated. The limited vibration observed on the model was confirmed by means of observations made on the completed bridge, but the vibration amplitude and the range of wind speeds reached in the test were different from those recorded on the bridge. It is concluded that the limited vibration does not hinder traffic in any way. /TRRL/
