THE SHIP MANOEUVRING SIMULATOR FOR SAFETY ASSESSMENT OF HIGH SPEED CRAFTS
In Japan, several high speed craft have recently entered into service in congested sea areas. This trend necessitates the development of navigation aids. A ship manoeuvring simulator for the assessment of high speed craft has been developed. The paper describes the main features of the simulator and some simulation results are shown.
