4,000-TONNE MODULE TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR BREMER VULKAN

This article describes an innovative approach to transferring sections of large ships, particularly in a building dock. The system, designed for a German shipyard, enables the yard to build and outfit complete vessel ring hull sections of up to 4,000 tonnes in more favourable conditions than are normally affordable in a graving dock.
