STANDPOINTS OF OPERATIONAL STANDARDS

Operational aspects are taking a major role in maritime safety. This article discusses important initiatives dealing with this matter recently taken by organisations involved in maritime safety, i.e. the International Maritime Organisation, owners, classification societies and P&I clubs.
